Immigration!

This is an acrylic painting on a 60×90 cm canvas, and I’ve named it “immigration”!

While the painting mostly reflects my personal feelings regarding leaving my home country and the process of immigration, it was also in part inspired by the excellent book written by Behrouz Boochani called “No Friend But The Mountains”.
