Created in response to the protests in Jan 2026 in Iran, this painting depicts two people kissing in the middle of unrest — an intimate act that becomes political in a country where public displays of affection are forbidden and policed. In this moment, tenderness itself becomes an act of disobedience, resistance, and reclaiming freedom through intimacy.
